Glass Family Field at Myers Stadium
Long time Ranger baseball fans can hardly recognize Glass Family Field at Myers Stadium, which has undergone big changes over the past three years, making it one of the nicest collegiate baseball facilities not only in the state of Oklahoma, but also NCAA Division II. With a brand new clubhouse, permanent grandstand, artificial turf infield, and multi-function pressbox, fans and players alike are treated to a first-class experience.Â
In the fall of 2012, Glass Family Field at Myers Stadium received additional upgrades, with the addition of permanent batting cages down the left field line. Northwestern baseball and softball players share the use the use of a private indoor facility, allowing them to hone their skills.
In the summer of 2015, an outfield watering system was installed by JJ Lane and Jim Lancaster of Double J Systems, LLC. The Dugout Club was a big supporter of the irrigation system and provided much of the funding for the project.
