ALVA, Okla.-Northwestern Oklahoma State Volleyball took down fellow Great American Conference member Southern Nazarene Thursday night by a final score of 3-1 (25-22, 12-25, 25-19). The opening set was a neck-and-neck battle throughout but the Rangers were able to come out victorious by a score of 25-22 over the Crimson Storm to take the early advantage. The following two sets each saw both teams showing signs of dominance as Southern Nazarene evened things up in the second set at 25-12 but the black-and-red stormed right back and took set three, 26-14. Northwestern saw themselves down as many as five points in set number four however, the Rangers were able to keep things close until late in the set when they exploded for an 8-0 run to close out the set and the match at 25-19.
