ALVA, Okla.- Northwestern Oklahoma State volleyball defeated Great American Conference competitor University of Arkansas Monticello by a score of 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-15). The Rangers have not only moved to 3-1 at home and 3-3 in conference play, but have won three straight matches.
 
Individual Leaders
  • Nora To'omalatai led the way in kills for the Rangers with 16, while hitting a team high .462.
  • Natalie Fahey was also dominant at the net this evening as she recorded nine kills and hitting .450. Her defense was also stellar as she recorded a team and match high six blocks.
  • Carley Geer was also valuable against Monticello, serving up three aces total.
 
Game Changer
  • In Set two, the Rangers jumped out to a 14-1 run, forcing the Blossoms into a quick timeout. The visitors scored a couple points back-to-back, but it wasn't enough to mount a comeback as the Rangers cruised to a set two victory.
 
News & Notes
  • The Rangers finished with a stat line of: 41 kills / 5 aces / 9 blocks / 36 assists / 55 digs
  • In Set three the Rangers only allowed four errors, which was the lowest in a set on the season.
  • This was the third straight win for the Rangers on the season and also the fourth time The Rangers had back to back games.
