ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Basketball will head to Pittsburg, Kan. next as they prepare to take on Pittsburg State, Monday Dec. 14 starting at 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT: 12/5/15 – NW 62 at UAM 81Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Basketball was taken down by Great American Conference opponent Arkansas-Monticello Saturday afternoon by a final score of 81-62.
Individual Leaders-
Ashley Pride went on to lead Northwestern in overall scoring finishing with 14 points. Pride also contributed four assists and grabbed four rebounds.

Relina Johnson turned in a solid performance on the floor as well for the black-and-red as she finished with 11 points, four rebounds, and four blocks on the day.

Jakeria Otey was also able to score in double figures for the Rangers as she totaled 10 points and added two steals to her stat line.
Game Changer-The first quarter saw each team battling for control of the contest as the opening period would come to a close all tied up at 18-18. The second quarter saw the Blossoms begin to extend their lead late as Monticello closed out the quarter on a 10-4 run giving the home team the 37-30 advantage at the half.
-UAM carried that momentum over to the third quarter as they would open up the scoring margin to end the period leading Northwestern, 63-43. The final quarter saw more of the same from the Blossoms as Northwestern ultimately fell on the road by a final of 81-62. Arkansas-Monticello was able to outscore Northwestern in the paint 40-20 which definitely contributed to UAM's victory also.
