The Bison started set one with a 7-0 run, which caused the Rangers to never recover. Oklahoma Baptist went on to beat the Rangers by a score of 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-21). This marked the first Great American Conference game of the season and the first home game for the Rangers.
