ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The fourth game of the season for the Rangers was a tough one as the Tigers of Ouachita Baptist came out in the second half ready to play, taking down the visitors 55-13.
Individual Leaders- Reid Miller would throw for a total of 201 yards as he went 21-31 during the game with two touchdown passes.
- In his 2015 debut for the Rangers, Jarion Tudman torched the Ouachita Baptist defense for nearly 200 total yards of offense as well as the lead return man for the Rangers, accumulating 62 yards.
- Devin Peyton was once again the leading tackler for Northwestern as he tallied nine on the evening.
Game Changers- After a nice start to the game offensively, with Tudman scampering for 51 yards on the second play, the black-and-red were unable to capitalize missing a field goal from 33 yards out.
- Ouachita scored on their first three possessions making it 21-0 before the rangers could find the endzone.
- The Tigers nearly doubled the first down production of the Rangers throughout the game, winning that battle 31-16.
News & Notes- Northwestern's coaching staff participated in the Coach to Cure MD during tonight's game where they wore patches on their sleeves in support of the program.
- Eight different receivers caught passes on the night.
- 17 different defensive players recorded tackles tonight with six having five or more.
Up NextNorthwestern will hit the road for the second straight week where they will take the field against the Tigers of East Central for a 6 p.m. match-up in Ada, Okla. on October 3. East Central is 3-1 on the season.
