ALVA, OKLA. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Volleyball was defeated by Harding University by a final score of 3-0 (23-25, 23-25, 17-25).

Individual Leaders

• Asia Pipkin led the way for the Rangers for the second straight  game with 15 kills.
• Carley Geer was solid on the back row for the Rangers with 21 digs as well as six assists.
• Vanessa Maile led the way with 20 assists.

 
Game Changer

• The first set was a story of large runs by both teams. Harding put together the first run with a string of six points to take an 8-4 lead. After a back-and-forth exchange of points Northwestern answered with a five point run to jump out ahead 13-11. The stretch of solid play was followed up with four straight attack errors to put the Lady Bison ahead once again. Three more lead changes eventually resulted in a 25-23 Harding victory after a hectic set. Both teams struggled to hit efficiently in the set with Harding finishing with a hitting of percentage of .186 and the Rangers posting a .040 number.
• The second set followed the flow of the end of the first set with Northwestern beginning the set with a four point run, but both teams managed to limit the opposing team's runs in the second set. The largest point differential in the set came at just the 7-3 mark, after that the teams battled all the way to the end with the Lady Bison eventually pulling out another nail-biter, 25-23.
• Harding would finish off the Rangers in the third set after they jumped out to a big lead midway through the set and the Rangers couldn't find a way to respond.
