Game Changer
- It was a tight first set all the way until the 17-16 mark when the Crimson Storm went on a four point run to break the set open and finished the first set of action with a 25-18 victory. The second set saw the Crimson Storm jump out to an early lead, but the Rangers finally got settled into the match and tied the score up at 10-10. Another back-and-forth stretch broke out until Southern Nazarene finished off the Rangers with a 4-1 run to take the set 25-22.
-  The Rangers broke through in the third set and took a huge 25-13 victory. The Rangers went on one of their largest runs of the whole season midway through the set in the fashion of a 9-2 run sparked by three straight kills from Pipkin. Two aces from Barker and a mix of kills from Brattain spurred the Rangers to a solid victory.
- The comeback fell just short in a tight fourth set that saw the Rangers constantly battle back throughout the set just when the Storm looked to pull ahead. The Rangers took a 24-23 lead late in the set but were unable to get the final point across, resulting in a 3-1 Crimson Storm match victory.
