Game Changer
- The first set of the evening saw the Muleriders jump out to a quick 8-2 run over the Rangers. Kills from Fahey, Asia Pipkin and Hayley Brattain narrowed the lead down to just four at the 10-6 mark in the match, but Southern Arkansas cruised to a 25-15 victory.
- The Rangers got off to a much better start in the second set, not allowing the score to differentiate by more than one point until the Muleriders opened up an 11-9 lead. Two straight aces from the Rangers kept them in the ball game late, but a costly service error paired with an attack error ultimately allowed the Muleriders to take a close 25-23 victory.
- The Rangers showed some resilience in the final set when they found themselves down big yet again, going on a five point run at the 24-17 mark late in the set. However, Southern Arkansas finally got a point down and took the set 25-22.
