ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Basketball was defeated by Great American Conference adversary Henderson State University by a final score of 76-65 Saturday afternoon.


Individual Leaders
  • Guiding the Ranger offense this afternoon was Kamera Bozeman who totaled 23 points on the day after shooting 10-12 from the field. Bozeman was able to pull down five rebounds and tack on three assists to her stat line as well.
  • Deja Beechum recorded double digit points for the black-and-red also as she scored 11 against the Reddies. Beechum grabbed four rebounds for the visiting squad, adding to her stat line. 
  • Relina Johnson posted a solid overall line with nine points, seven rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist. 
     
Game Changer
  • This match-up came down to several key stats but the one that stands out was free throw shooting as Henderson State finished 23-29 from the line compared to Northwestern shooting 8-10 from the charity stripe. 
  • Total team rebounds played a part in this contest as well with the Reddies racking up 42 boards compared to the Rangers 34.

  • This was the final regular season contest for Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Basketball and unfortunately with an overall record of 2-26 (0-22 GAC), the Rangers are elimated from contention for a spot in the Great Amerinca Conference post-season tournament.
