ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State Volleyball lost to The University of Mary 3-1 in the first game of doubleheader action at the New Victorian Inn and Suites/Runza Fall Classic.

Individual Leaders
Game Changer
- The Rangers came out hot and jumped out to a 5-1 lead early in the first set and were able to ride the early momentum in route to a 25-21 first set victory.
- The Marauders came out in the second set and established some offensive firepower defeating the Rangers 25-18.
- After a close third set that saw the Marauders come out on top 27-25, the black-and-red were unable to win the fourth set with the final score of the match sitting at 3-1.

ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State volleyball finished up the New Victorian Inn and Suites/Runza Fall Classic with a 3-1 loss to Newman University.
Individual Leaders
- Kiauna Clark filled up the stat sheet with 29 assists and 21 digs for the afternoon.
- Carley Geer continued her solid defensive play with 18 digs.
Game Changer
- A 10-2 Newman run in the first set was enough for the Jets to open up in dominating fashion with a 25-13 victory.
- The second set of action saw much of the same as the Jets continued their outstanding offensive output defeating the Rangers 25-12.
- The Rangers finally began to show some life in the third set when Hannah Williams slammed down the winning kill to end a comeback attempt from Newman late in the set. The Rangers were up by as much as nine points in the 25-23 victory.
- The Rangers bid for their first victory of the season came to an end when the Jets finished off the match with an 8-1 run to win the set and the match.
