ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State Volleyball was swept by the #7 ranked Bronchos of the University of Central Oklahoma in the first match of the MIAA/GAC Challenge in Edmond, Okla.

Game Changer
- The Rangers were unable to overcome a 9-2 UCO run midway through the first set and ended up dropping the opening set of the tournament 25-15.
- The Bronchos capitalized on an efficient output from their offense by only committing two attack errors throughout the set, winning the set 25-18.
- The black-and-red would not go down without a fight as they played one their best sets of the year and held a 25-24 lead against the nationally ranked Bronchos, but gave up three straight points to lose the set 27-25.

ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State volleyball finished day one of the MIAA/GAC Challenge with their first victory of the season over Southwest Baptist University.
Individual Leaders
- Natalie Fahey put together an impressive performance in the Ranger's victory totaling 16 kills while hitting .444 against the Bearcats.
- Carley Geer provided the much needed defense for the Rangers with 23 digs.
- Jennifer Eubanks also came through with 16 kills of her own.
- Vanessa Maile led the way for the black-and-red with 26 assists.
Game Changer
- The Rangers came back from a 20-14 SBU lead late in the first set and won their first set of the tournament 28-26.
- The second set of action saw the Rangers take advantage of an 11-3 run that included kills from 5 different players. The black-and-red maintained that moment and won the set 25-19.
- The Rangers struggled in the third set with multiple attack errors, allowing the third set to slip away to the Bearcats 25-21.
- The black-and-red closed out the Bearcats with three straight points from Natalie Fahey and Jennifer Eubanks for their first victory of the season.
