ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State volleyball was defeated by Newman University Tuesday evening by a score of 3-1.

Individual Leaders

• Natalie Fahey led the way for the Rangers with 14 kills.
• Tobi Barker aided the defensive effort with 13 digs.
• Jennifer Eubanks posted an impressive .471 hit percentage.
   

Game Changer

• The opening set was all Newman as the Jets opened up a 19-8 lead and never looked back in route to a 25-15 victory.
• A 12-2 run midway through the second set paved the way for a 25-16 Newman win. 
• After a slow start, the Rangers capitalized on an 8-2 run during the third set and took down the Jets 25-22.
• The Rangers kept it close, but Newman pulled away in the fourth set 25-21.

• Northwestern Oklahoma State Volleyball will be back in action Friday and Saturday, Sept. 9-10 at the Nebraska-Kearney Tournament where they will take on the host team and Black Hills State University on the first day of action.
