ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State volleyball team will compete in the first round of the 2017 GAC Postseason Tournament this evening in a match against Southern Nazarene at 7:30 p.m in Hot Springs, Ark.
The Rangers will look to defeat the Crimson Storm for the third time this season after defeating them in four sets on the road back on Oct.11 and then at home on Oct. 26. Northwestern will look to a trio of offensive standouts in
Jennifer Eubanks, Brooklynn Hesson, and
Hannah Williams to lead them to the program's first postseason victory.
All three athletes found their names on the All-Great American Conference Lists after leading the Rangers to a 20-10 overall record. A victory in Thursday's match would set the Rangers up with a potential showdown with undefeated and nationally ranked Arkansas Tech on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m.
All matches throughout the tournament will be streamed online on the www.gacsportsnetwork.com. Ranger fans can also tune in to the live radio broadcast by Dustin Goodno and Olivia Yandel from onsite at the Bank of the Ozarks Arena on the Pulse 105.7 FM or online at www.alvaradio.com.
