Lady Rangers finishes the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invite in 16th place

EDMOND, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State women's golf team wrapped up the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invite on Tuesday as they took 16th after shooting a 346-336—682 at the par-70, 5,821-yard Kickingbird Golf Course.

Mackena Tennyson was the Lady Rangers top finisher tying for 64th place, after turning in a two-day total of 86-81—167. Tennyson climbed six places on day two.
Ashley Watts tallied a score of 85-84—169. She finished tied for 68th place, Samantha Friday improved by seven strokes on the second day. Friday carded a 90-83—173 and Angela Egger shot an 86-90—176.

Madison Masch recorded a tournament score of 89-88—177, to round out the scoring for Northwestern.

Rogers State won the team title after defeating Central Oklahoma in a playoff after the two teams ended the two rounds with a tie at 603. Jessica Green of Rogers State shot a 72-72—144 to edge out Susana Olivares of Central Oklahoma to win the individual crown.

The Red-and-Black will take a week off before traveling to Bolivar, Mo. To take part in the Midwest Intercollegiate Invitational hosted by Drury at the Silo Ridge Country Club.
