Alva, Okla – The Red-and-Black returned home to play against the Bisons of Harding University. The Rangers secured a 4-1 win over the Bisons Thursday evening. This is the first time the Rangers have scored more than two goals on the Bisons and the first 10 season wins since 2004.
The Rangers continued to improve on their season as they are 10-4-1 (5-3-1 in GAC) and the Bisons drop 5-8-1 (3-5-1). The Bisons outshot the Rangers 21-16 with only having 11 being on target.

Kealoha scored her first collegiate goal and her first goal of the season off of a Ranger Corner kick in the 15th minute of play. Kealoha took the Rangers corner kick with the wind behind her back sending it into the Bisons net.
Kealoha scored her second goal of the evening off of a free kick in the center of the field. As Kealoha kicked the ball, the wind carried it with pace, striking the back of the Bisons net.
The Bisons would answer back in the 32nd minute of the opening half with a short corner as Harding player Carmen Gunn kicked the ball and caught the top right corner of the net.
The Rangers led the Bisons 2-1 going into halftime.
The Rangers came out blazing in the second half as they had to play against the wind. The Rangers kept the ball in play by keeping the ball on the ground and passing it around with pace. The Red-and-Blacks defense had a variety of players cycle through to keep the players with fresh legs.
In the 60th minute, Northwestern scored their third goal of the match from Mcmillan. The play started with Tiara Campbell winning the ball in the middle of the field and turning with it while beating a Harding player. Campbell found the feet of Haneborg who passed the ball in front of Mcmillan who was making a run into the sixth-yard box. Mcmillan got to the ball first and beat Harding's goalkeeper sending the ball down the center to the back of the net.
In the 63rd minute, Marks found the ball as she would send it into the back of the net from an assist by Abby Nunez. Nunez found Marks on the backside of the goal with a ball played across the six-yard box. Marks being wide open buried the ball into the back of the net capitalizing on the opportunity.
Allen finished the game with only allowing the Bisons one goal throughout the game. The Bisons had 21 shots, but only 11 were on goal for 10 saves on the evening for Allen.
"What a phenomenal night for Ranger Soccer. We asked a lot of our girls tonight and they responded with an absolutely brilliant performance. In the critical moments of the game, we had players make big-time plays. We couldn't be prouder of this group and are looking forward to competing again on Saturday" said head coach Alex Piekarski.
The Rangers return home for senior day on Oct. 30th as they play against the Tigers of Ouachita University. The kick-off will begin at 11 AM!
