Lady Rangers vs. Savage Storm Game Preview

ALVA, Okla. – The Lady Rangers will face the Savage Storm of Southeastern Oklahoma State for the third time this season today at 4:30 p.m. inside Percefull Fieldhouse.  
 
Northwestern enters the matchup 4-9 overall and 2-9 in GAC play.

The Red-and-Black faced SOSU in Durant on Jan. 30 but came up short during the final minutes and lost 76-63. Mya Johnson led the Lady Rangers with 17 points, one steal, one assist and seven rebounds. She finished shooting 7-for-9 from inside and 3-for-7 from the free-throw line. 
Scout Frame posted 12 points an assist and three rebounds. S. Frame drained 2-of-3 from deep. Bailey Brown finished with four assists, eight rebounds and 11 points. Brown stole the ball from the Savage Storm three times and rattled in 5-of-7 from field goal range. 
 
The Lady Rangers are led by four players. 
 
Johnson enters the contest averaging 12.9 points and 9.7 rebounds. She's completing 64.5% of her shots and 50% of her free throws. Johnson has amassed 14 blocks and 116 rebounds on the season so far. 
 
Brown will face the Savage Storm averaging 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds. She's shooting 76.9% from the free-throw line and has recorded 41 assists along with 15 steals, the most on the team. 
 
Neeley is posting 10.7 points along with 5.8 rebounds. She's shooting 52.9% from the field and 70.8% from free throw range. 
 
S. Frame is averaging 9.5 points and 4.2 rebounds. Like Brown, she has also recorded 15 steals.

In their previous victory over Northwestern…Briley Moon scored 23 points, grabbed nine rebounds and assisted three Southeastern players. She also blocked a Lady Ranger and stole the ball from Northwestern one time. Moon finished shooting 6-of-9, 2-of-2 from outside and 9-of-9 from the free-throw line. Kamryn Cantwell finished with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. She stole the ball four times and assisted her teammates four times. Haiden Williams rounded out the double-digit Southeastern scorers with 10 points and two rebounds. 
 
Cantwell leads Southeastern with 17.6 points and eight rebounds. She's completing 84.8% of her free throws and 43.8% of her shots from deep. 
 
Moon travels to Alva averaging 15.1 points with six rebounds, she's shooting 88.6% from the free-throw line and 40% from outside. 
 
Katie Branam posts 10.5 points and 4.7 rebounds. Branam is finishing 89.5% of her shots from the free-throw line.
