The Lady Rangers Will Face Oklahoma Baptist Today at 2 p.m.

ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Women's Basketball will hit the road today and travel to Shawnee to face the Bison of Oklahoma Baptist at 2 p.m.

After their previous meeting in Alva, the Lady Rangers fell short against the Bison 56-66. Bailey Brown finished with a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds. She completed 7-of-15 from the field and a perfect 2-of-2 from the free-throw line. Brown also recorded three assists and a steal. Scout Frame scored 12 points and snagged five rebounds. She stole the ball from the Bison four times and finished a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. Anna Motycka, the freshman from Burlington, posted 11 points and one steal. She finished shooting 4-of-8 from the field including 3-of-5 from deep.

Northwestern enters the contest 5-10 overall and 3-10 in GAC play.

After 15 games, Mya Johnson currently leads the Lady Rangers in scoring averaging 12.2 points and 9.4 rebounds. Johnson is shooting 63.3% from the field.

Brown averages 11.3 points and 9.5 rebounds. She's shooting 77.8% from the free-throw line and 39.3% from the field.

S. Frame averages 10.6 points and 4.4 rebounds. She's shooting 44.4% from the field and 63% from the free-throw line.

Lizzie Shephard averages 6.4 points along with two rebounds. Shephard is shooting 77.8% from the free-throw line and 28.8% from the field.

Andreja Peciuraite finished with 12 points off of 5-for-11 shooting and 2-for-2 from the free-throw line. She also grabbed seven rebounds. Kalifa Ford stole the ball from the Red-and-Black twice, scored 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds. She also recorded a block and an assist.

OBU is 3-13 overall and 2-12 in the Great American Conference.

The Bison are led by three players that are posting double figures.

Ford enters the contest averaging 13.4 points and 5.8 rebounds. She's shooting 81.3% from the free-throw line and 47.1% from the field.

Peciuraite posts 11.6 points with 7.3 rebounds. She's finishing 51.9% of her shots from field goal range and 83.3% of her free throws.
