ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Rodeo Team is proud to host their annual rodeo this year which is scheduled for Thursday October 27th through Saturday October 29th.

The Northwestern Rodeo is on track to have another successful season having participated in three rodeos so far this season at Colby Community College, Southeastern Oklahoma State and Oklahoma State University. The home rodeo will complete the fall season before the spring schedule begins on February 16th-18th. 

"I am excited that we will have the Ranger Rodeo in Alva again in October," Athletic Director Brad Franz stated. "This event is a huge event for Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Alva and all of the great people of Northwestern Oklahoma. We look forward to the hundreds of contestants that will be here for the event. Coach Stockton Graves has an excellent team, and we are excited for them to compete."

The Northwestern Rodeo team will host this rodeo at the Woods County Fairgrounds here in Alva for the duration of the rodeo. They will host other schools all around the region at the Rodeo along with over hundreds entry members in this event.
