ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State welcomes Southern Nazarene to Percefull Fieldhouse Saturday afternoon for a Great American Conference matchup. The Lady Rangers enter play with a 4-1 overall record, with 1-1 in conference play, while the Crimson Storm enter 5-3 overall record and 2-0 in conference play.
 

Northwestern is coming off a split week at 1-1 following a 85-60 victory over East Central followed by an 80-50 loss to Oklahoma Baptist on the road. In the opening week of conference play Faith Simpson led the charge for the Lady Rangers averaging 20 points between the two games along with eight rebounds. Carly Craig has continued her fast start to the season continuing her double digit scoring streak to start the year with 15 points against ECU before following up with 14 points including hitting four threes in a game for the second time this season.
 

Defensively for the Lady Rangers Simpson leads the Rangers with 16 steals on the year including three blocks as Craig is second with 13 steals on the year. Talayah Thomas, and Camille Thomas each have two blocks on the season. 
 

Southern Nazarene comes in on a four game winning streak following wins over Southeastern, and East Central to open conference play. 
 

The Crimson Storm are coached by Trent May who is in his fifth season with the program with a record of 393-197 overall in his 21 years of coaching, while holding a record of 71-44 at Southern Nazarene. 
 

The Crimson Storm have been led by Cassandra Awatt averaging 15.6 points per game and Georgia Adams at 15.1 as the two double figure scorers. Awatt leads the team with 8.5 rebounds per game while Lauryn Reither leads the team with 19 assists. 

The Lady Rangers enter play Saturday against the Crimson Storm looking to snap a seven game losing streak against Southern Nazarene with the last win coming in 2019. Dating back to 2010 Southern Nazarene leads 16-5.
