Box Score Weatherford, Okla. - The Lady Rangers were defeated by rival Lady Bulldogs 92-58. An early 12-0 run by Southwestern allowed them to lead the entire game leading to the Tuesday victory. Northwestern and Southwestern now split the season series 1-1 for the 2022 season.

This loss advances Southwestern to a seven game win streak with a 16-2 conference record and 22-4 overall record. Northwestern falls to a 9-9 conference record and a 13-11 overall record.Â

Bailey Brown led the team with 15 points followed by Scout Frame with 13 points. Brown also led in rebounds with 6. Carly Craig led the team in assists with 4 followed by Josena Frame and Brown with 3.Â

1st Quarter: It was a slow start for The Lady Rangers as The Lady Bulldogs started the game with a 12-0 run. Carly Craig broke the Southwestern run with a three pointer from the corner. Both teams battled back and forth from that point for a couple minutes while neither scored for another two minutes. The Lady Bulldogs broke the silence with a jumper. Scout Frame responded with a jumper for Northwestern. The Lady Bulldogs answered back with a three pointer and layup. Two free throws by Bailey Brown would leave The Lady Rangers trailing 23-7 at the conclusion of the opening quarter.Â

2nd Quarter: Â Out of the break and off the bench, Kes Reeves fired off an early three pointer to close the gap. Once again both teams battled back and forth, not scoring for two minutes. The Lady Bulldogs responded with a layup and a three pointer for a quick 7-0 run in total. S.Frame answered back with a layup and a free throw trying to help the Lady Rangers close the gap. Brown fed off The Lady Ranger momentum and scored a layup for Northwestern. Southwestern quickly responded with a three pointer. Brown answered with a jumper. The Lady Bulldogs fired off a jumper before both teams settled into a stalemate once more. Craig contributed a three point play in the last minute of the quarter. Two free throws by Southwestern contributed to their lead 48-22 going into halftime. Craig led the team with 8 points and Brown led in rebounds with 3.Â

3rd Quarter: The opening minutes of the second half the Lady Rangers scored two back to back layups, first by Kinsey Niederer and second by S.Frame. The Lady Bulldogs responded with a layup. Brown answered back with another layup for Northwestern. Niederer contributed a jumper. Both teams battled back and forth going point for point while Southwestern would not let the Lady Rangers get any closer. With Southwestern still leading 59-34. A layup by both S.Frame and Brown closed the gap to twenty points. The Lady Bulldogs fired off a dribble drive layup and three pointer extended their lead quickly. S.Frame responded with a jumper. Brown contributed a three point play. Southwestern answered back with another three pointer. A last second layup by Craig left The Lady Rangers trailing 73-45 going into the final quarter.Â

4th Quarter: Southwestern was first to strike with a layup. Neiderer responded with a three pointer for Northwestern. The Lady Bulldogs quickly fired off two back to back three pointers. Reeves knocked down a layup for her first points of the quarter. Neither team scored for a minute and a half in the final quarter. Southwestern broke the silence with a layup. Off the bench, Camille Thomas contributed a free throw for The Lady Rangers. The Lady Bulldogs did not slow, firing off a three pointer. Northwestern had multiple players make contributions off the bench in the last couple of minutes. Southwestern continues their winning streak by defeating The Lady Rangers 92-58.Â
