ALVA, Okla- Northwestern Oklahoma State Football and Head Coach Matt Walter have announced the singing of 27 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent. The 2022 football signing class included 26 total members broken-up between four different states in which included Texas (18), Oklahoma (5), Florida (3), and Louisiana (1).
"National Signing Day is an exciting day for Northwestern Oklahoma State University and our football program. The efforts from our staff, players, administration, the community, and local businesses have been extraordinary throughout this entire process. We're thrilled with a class, loaded with talent that we are bringing into the program. We hit on a lot of key areas and got the guys we wanted, that will be good students and young men." stated head coach Matt Walter on the incoming recruiting class.
On this date February 2nd, the National Signing Day is the first day of the football signing period that runs through the majority of the summer until August 1st. The Rangers coaching staff has received letters of intent from 26 total players which included 14 players on offense, 11 defensive players and one special teams player.
"My staff and I would like to send out a huge thank you to everyone who helped pull this together. We would also like to extend a big welcome to these recruits and their families. Ride Rangers Ride!" said Walter.
Walter brings in this 2022 recruiting class as he prepares for his seventh season with the Ranger Football program.

Texas (18): George Dennis (OL), Daniel Seals (FB), Jaden Smith (RB), Isaiah Herrera (OL), Trystan Butler (OL), Cameron Epps (OL), Kirk Dillard (CB), Devin Fields (DL), Braden Waters (DB), Kaden Taylor (WR), Mark Zamora (WR), Laithe Shelley (TE), RJ Peppers (LB), Antoine Martin (DB), Gavin Hulet (OL), Derek Degrate (DL), Daylin Huett (OL), Marcaelin Caraway (DB).
Oklahoma (5): Kadan Delatorre (DL), Trenton Hickok (OL), Aiden Lewis (LB), Zack Stone (P), Trevor Wardrip (WR). Marcaelin Caraway
Florida (3): Garris Reed (DL), Wesley Cadet, Justin Doll (DB)
