OWASSO, Okla – The Northwestern women's golf team wrapped up the Hillcat Classic on Tuesday at the Bailey Ranch Golf Course in Owasso, Okla. The Rangers were able to record a top 10 finish.
The Red-and-Black posted a 348-342 – 690 team score after two rounds in two days.
Samantha Friday led the Rangers after improving her second round score. Friday carded a first round score of 92 just to come back in round two scoring a 78. She carded five birdies in the two rounds while finishing with a score of 170.
Madison Masch carded a 83 in her first round while recording round two score of 88, finishing the tournament with a final score of 171. Masch carded two birdies as well.
Coming in next for the Rangers was Angela Egger. Egger scored 86-86 - 172 in the tournament.
Alexis Webb posted a two round 87-90 - 177, while recording a single birdie.
Mackena Tennyson finished next for the Ranges carding a 93-91 - 184, with one birdie over the two rounds.
Averie Larson rounded out the scoring for NWOSU. Larson carding a 104-106 - 210 in the tournament.
Rogers State University earned the victory in Owasso, after carding a two round team total of 626. After the two rounds, there were three players that claimed the individual title after shooting a 152.
