SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Basketball is set to open the Great American Conference tournament Friday evening with tip-off set for 8:00 PM against Harding University in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

The Lady Rangers(15-13 overall and 11-11 GAC) enter Friday's game 2-2 in their last four games after falling in the last two games of the season. Northwestern enters the season 0-1 on a neutral floor this season and have lost their last 10 games looking to end the streak.Â

Northwestern Oklahoma State had two players recently named to the Great American Conference All-GAC teams in Scout Frame on the second team, and Bailey Brown named to the first team.Â

Brown leads the Rangers in scoring this season at 18.6 points per game which ranks third in the conference and fourth in rebounding with 8.1. S. Frame is second on the team with 16.2 points per game as the two double figure scorers. The 16 points a game ranks seventh in the conference and 10th in rebounding at 6.8 per game. The Rangers are scoring 69.6 points per game ranking seventh in the GAC on 42% shooting from the field for fourth in the GAC. The Rangers have shared the ball at a high rate ranking second in the conference in assists at 14.9 per game. Carly Craig leads the Rangers in this averaging 3.9 per game for third in the conference and 4th in the conference in assist /turnover ratio. Kinsey Neiderer leads the team in three point shooting with hitting a team high 48 on the season shooting 33% from behind the arc.Â

The Northwestern defense ranks fifth in scoring defense allowing 65.6 points per game and seventh in defensive percentage at 39.4% opponents are shooting. Northwestern is first in rebounding margin at +8 for 40.1 rebounds per game. Northwestern has forced 15.5 turnovers per game ranking seventh in the conference as the team ranks fifth in steals per game at 8.4. Craig leads the team in steals with 37 on the year followed by Brown with 36 and Josena Frame with 32.Â

Scouting Harding:
The Bisons enter play dropping three of their last four games of the regular season including three straight at home. Harding and Northwestern tied their season series 1-1 both winning on their own respective floor.Â

Harding's offense ranks fifth in the conference at 73.1 points per game on 41.1% shooting which is sixth in the league. Similar to the Lady Rangers Harding shares the ball at a high rate ranking third in the conference. Hannah Collins leads them in assists at three a game. Scoring is led by Sage Hawley and Collins at 15.9 points and 14.4 points each ranking in the top 10 in the GAC.

Their defense is led by Collins who averages 1.85 steals per game ranking eight in the league. Harding's defense is ranked seventh in points allowed per game at 68.7 as they hold their opponents to 40.2% from the field ranked 10th in the conference. As a team they force the ninth most turnovers at 14.4 per game.Â

The Bisons lead the series history 17-1 dating back to 2013 against the Rangers as Harding took the first meeting this season between the two 61-39 back in late January before the Rangers responded with a 65-63 win at home to even the season series between the two.Â

Game two Frame led the Rangers in scoring with 22 points followed by Brown with 19 points. Neiderer led the team with two threes along with Kes Reeves. In that January game Scout Frame led the team with 11 points on the evening with 11 rebounds picking up the double-double. Camille Thomas was able to score seven points off the bench leading the Rangers in that category.Â
