OWASSO, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Golf completed the Hillcat Classic on Tuesday afternoon after a two round invitational. The Rangers finished in fifth with a total of 657 (328-329) between the two rounds.
Overall Rogers State won the invitational finishing with a total of 614 (302-312). The overall individual winner was Lydia Sitorus from Rogers State (73-77) totaling 150.
The Rangers were led by Romane Lacoste who tied for 13th overall in the tournament finishing with a 162 with an 81 in each round. Lacoste finished with a team high 19 pars, along with two birdies in the tournament.
Tess Linden was second for the Rangers finishing with a 164 (85-79) improving by six shots in round two for a final total of 79 being her best round tying for 18th overall. Linden had 17 pars in the tournament while adding one birdie.
Agathe Lacoste and Amanda Lane were next for the Rangers placing tied for 24th overall in the tournament. Both scored 81 in round one and an 87 in the second round totaling 168 overall between the two rounds. Lane finished with 13 pars in the tournament and three birdies between the two rounds. Lacoste had 15 pars in the tournament while having one birdie.
Next for the Rangers was Addison Furtick placing tied for 31st in the tournament while finishing with a best round of 82 for a total of 170. Furtick had 13 pars in the tournament while adding two birdies in the Hillcat classic.
Tied for 37th overall in the invitational was Kentyn Clark with a best round of 87 finishing with a mark of 176 in the tournament. Clark had 11 pars in the tournament while adding one birdie.
Northwestern will return to action on March 25th and March 26th with a tournament in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the Hardscrabble Country Club hosted by Arkansas Fort Smith.
