EDMOND, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Golf completed the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invite Tuesday afternoon at the Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond, Oklahoma. Overall the Rangers placed 10th at the tournament after a total of 648(324-324).
Southwestern Oklahoma State was the overall tournament winner with a total of 592 (287-305). Oklahoma Christian had the individual winner in Sofia Benavides with a total of 142 (69-73).
Romane Lacoste and Tess Linden each tied for the Ranger leader and tied 24th overall in the tournament. Lacoste finished with a total of 158 after having a consistent 79 in both rounds of the tournament. Lacoste led Northwestern with a total of 20 pars through the two rounds with a total of three birdies.
Linden had her best round in the first round with a total of 76 in round one. Linden had a total of 12 pars overall alongside three birdies in the two rounds.
Next for the Rangers is Addison Furtick who totaled a 162 between the two rounds with her best coming in round two with a total of 78. Furtick finished with a total of 18 pars in the tournament with one birdie overall. The 162 had her tied for 39th overall in the tournament.
Amanda Lane was fourth for the Rangers and tied for 58th overall in the tournament. She finished with a total of 85 in each round. Lane had a total of 12 pars and one birdie at the tournament.
Agathe Lacoste was fifth for the Rangers with a total of 163 after a best round of 86 between the two rounds. Lacoste finished with 10 pars overall in the tournament. This placed her 63rd overall at the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invite.
Northwestern Women's Golf will be traveling to the Bailey Ranch Golf Club for their next tournament in Owasso, Oklahoma hosted by Rogers State.
