ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Volleyball announces their 2024 schedule. The Rangers will have a total of 28 matches on the season that includes 13 home games, nine away games, and six neutral. The schedule will also include 16 conference games, and 12 non-conference games.
Northwestern will open with two season opening tournaments with one single match in between a third weekend tournament that will be hosted by Northwestern.
The season begins at Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas with two matches on September 6th against Adams State and one against Midwestern State. The Rangers will close this tournament out on September 7th versus Drury and Western New Mexico.
Northwestern then travels to Hays, Kansas for a tournament hosted by Fort Hays State. The Rangers will open against Colorado Springs before closing the day with Truman State. The Rangers conclude the tournament against Emporia State and Fort Hays State.
Northwestern will break from the tournament for the conference opener in Alva against East Central on September 17th for the home opener. The Rangers will be home over that weekend as well with a home tournament against Southwestern College, William Jewell, and Tabor that will be played on September 20th and September 21st.
The Ranges will then travel to Southern Nazarene for the first conference road game of the season. Following the September 24th match in Bethany, the Rangers will be home for four of their next five matches.
This stretch starts on September 26th against Southeastern Oklahoma State followed by Southwestern Oklahoma State on October 1st to open the month. After a trip to Shawnee, Oklahoma against Oklahoma Baptist the Rangers return home for two one against Arkansas Monticello followed by Southern Arkansas.
The next two for the Rangers are road matches with Arkansas Tech on October 17th and Harding on October 18th.
Northwestern returns home for three straight in Percefull Fieldhouse starting with Ouachita Baptist and Henderson State on October 24th and 25th. With the final one against McPherson on October 29th.
The Rangers then will have three of the next four on the road starting on Halloween night against East Central in Ada. Northwestern then starts the month of November with a home match against Southern Nazarene on November 4th before facing Southeastern Oklahoma State and Southwestern on the road.
Northwestern closes the 2024 regular season with a home match against Oklahoma Baptist on November 14th before the conference tournament begins on November 21st in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
