Rangers Close Out NSU Classic

ALVA, OKLAHOMA  - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Golf opened their season at the Northeastern State Classic in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the Muskogee Country Club.  Rangers placed 12th overall in the tournament with a total of 617 (301-316).

 

Rogers State won the tournament with a final total of 573 (284-289). The individual winner was Lydia Sitorus from Rogers State with a total of 138 (70-68).

 

The Rangers individual leader was Agathe Lacoste tying for 14th overall in the tournament with a score of 146 after finishing round one with a 74 before improving to 72 in round two. The 72 was the lowest round score for the Rangers in the two days. 

 

Romane Lacoste was second for Northwestern and 30th overall in the tournament with a 152. Her best round was a 73 on the first day before ending with a 79 in round two. 

 

Next for the Rangers was Addison Furtick with a final total of 158 for the Rangers with a best round score of 76 before having an 82 in round two. 

 

Tess Linden was the fourth Ranger finishing 76th overall in the tournament after having a first round of 78 followed by an 84 for a total of 162. 

 

Kentyn Clark placed 83rd overall for the tournament with an 83 in both rounds for a total of 166. 

 

The Rangers will be back in action on Monday-Tuesday, September 16th in Lawton, Oklahoma at the Lawton Country Club for the Oklahoma Intercollegiate hosted by Cameron University.
