ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State University's volleyball team hosted Southwestern Oklahoma State this Thursday on the senior night.

Southwestern stroke first with a 4:0 run. The Rangers fought hard to stay close to The Bulldogs and at one moment was only one-point behind. Unfortunately, Bulldogs pulled away and won the set 25:16.

In the second set, The Rangers earned the points first, but it didn't take long for The Bulldogs to answer back. The set was intense and close with each team fighting for their points back-to-back forcing The Bulldogs to take a timeout. The Rangers came out with fire out of the timeout not wanting to give up, forcing The Bulldogs to take another timeout at 22:21. Rangers could not find a rhythm and lost the second set 22:25.

The Rangers finish their season with a 6-22 overall and 3-13 in conference.
The Rangers started the third set with lots of energy as they led the set for a while. Northwestern forced The Bulldogs to take a timeout at 8:11. It didn't take long until Southwestern took over the lead at 13:12 now forcing The Rangers into a timeout. Northwestern tried to come back but couldn't succeed and lost the set 19:25 and the match 0-3.

The team was led by Ivanny Blackwood with 12 kills, one ace and seven digs. Ece Ozdemir had eight kills. Mikayla White led the team in assists with 14, one block and seven digs

The Rangers finish their season with a 6-22 overall and 3-13 in conference.
