SEARCY, Ark. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State women's soccer team lost to Harding, 4-0, in the Great American Conference semifinals on Friday.
The Rangers started the game off strong with multiple chances to score, but the Lady Bisons struck first in the 15th minute off a corner kick to put Harding up 1-0. The Rangers continued to fight in the first half, and went into halftime with more shots than Harding, but the Lady Bisons had the 1-0 advantage.
In the second half,
Taylor Annen made save after save, but the Lady Bisons scored two goals in 30 seconds to go up 3-0 in the 76th minute. The Rangers tried to rally back, but another Harding goal pushed to score to 4-0 with 10 minutes to go.
Jordan Fawcett and
Luana San Miguel led the Rangers in shots with three, while
Kamalei Kealoha had two and
Christi-Anne Mills had one.
