ALVA, OKLA. – Northwestern Oklahoma State University has announced that head football coach
Ronnie Jones has been relieved of his duties as head football coach, effective immediately.
"I appreciate Coach Jones' service, dedication and commitment to Northwestern Oklahoma State University Ranger football," said vice president of athletics Brad Franz. "Ronnie and his staff have worked very hard at elevating our program and helping us move forward. We are going to continue to move forward and contend in the Great American Conference."
"As a graduate and Hall of Fame member of Northwestern he will always be a valued member of the Ranger family," Franz said.
The university will begin a national search for new leadership of the Ranger football program.
