The Bisons struck first in the game after a leadoff walk to start the game was followed by a triple to left center for the 1-0 lead followed by a wild pitch as Harding took an early 2-0 lead over the Rangers in the first inning.

After a perfect top of the second inning, the Rangers struck in the bottom of the second inning tying the game. In the seventh inning, an infield single came back to hurt following a walk before a single tied the game 5-5.
