The Golden Suns worked across one more run as back to back singles to start the inning before loading the bases. A sacrifice fly increased the visitors lead to 3-0 scoring Hardy, but the Ranger defense got out of the inning on the same play, throwing out a second runner at the plate, as Kennedi Caine made the tag on the throw from Lapera.

The game stayed 3-0 into the seventh inning when the Rangers looking to comeback got a single from Corn. This later led in the inning to an RBI single by Rachel Sherwood as the Rangers trailed 3-1.
