Rangers Finish Fifth at Oklahoma Women’s Intercollegiate

LAWTON, Okla, - The Northwestern Oklahoma State women's golf team placed fifth at the Oklahoma Women's Intercollegiate tournament.

Cameron won the tournament and finished with a combined 26 above par, while Maria Jose Savoca won the individual title by shooting two above par with 74 on the first day and 70 on the second day.

Gracie Doke led the Rangers, as she finished in the top three in individuals and shot 73 on the first day and 74 on the second day to finish five above par. Tess Linden and Heather Hunkele had balanced tournaments, with Linden getting 79 and 80, while Hunkele had 81 and 80.

Amanda Lane bounced back by shooting 85 on the first day and only 79 on the second day, while Ava Borne shot 88 and 88 on both days.

The Rangers will be back in action on September 29th and 30th in Newton, Kansas at the Sand Creek Station Golf Course for the Newman Women's Invitational hosted by Newman University.
