ALVA, Okla. – Max Alexander earned the Great American Conference offensive player of the week for week nine of the season following Northwestern's wins over Arkansas-Monticello and Southern Arkansas.

Alexander scored a season-high 33 points against Southern Arkansas on 12-25 shooting while also racking up a season-high four steals. In the victory over Arkansas-Monticello, he scored 26 points on 8-17 shooting while shooting 50 percent from beyond the arc.

The Rangers will be back in action on Jan. 22nd, when they take on Southwestern Oklahoma State University at 7:30 p.m. inside Percefull Fieldhouse.
