Linden Records Top 10 Finish at Hardscrabble Invitational

FORT SMITH, Ark. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State women's golf team finished eighth at the Hardscrabble Invitational on Tuesday.

Midwestern State won the tournament by shooting 59 above par over three rounds, while Ellen Spigner of Arkansas Tech won the individual tournament with rounds of 73, 68, and 74.

Tess Linden finished ninth out of 75 golfers, as she shot 78 in the opening round before improving with back-to-back rounds of 76. Gracie Doke also recorded a top 20 finish, as she shot 76 in the opening round, 79 in the second round with two birdies, and closed out the tournament with a round of 80.

Amanda Lane started off with 89 in the opening round, but bounced back with rounds of 81 and 80. Kelsey Hoy-Pollard made her debut for the season, as she shot 87 in the opening round, and 86 in the second and third rounds. Heather Hunkele rounded out the Rangers with rounds of 91, 88, and 87.

The Rangers will be back in action on March 30, as they travel to the Meadowlake Golf Course in Enid for the ABC Supply Invitational.
