ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State baseball team fell to Ouachita Baptist, 10-2, on Sunday.
Ouachita scored five runs in the top of the first, but the Rangers responded by loading the bases in the bottom of the third with a leadoff double from
Brody Harris, followed by walks from
Blake Mattern and
Joel Lindahl.
Jailon Goodfellow blasted a single through the right side bring two runs home and cut into the deficit, 5-2. The Tigers tacked on another run in the fifth, and added four more runs in the ninth to get a 10-2 win over the Rangers.
Goodfellow led the Rangers in hits with two, and led in RBI with two.
The Rangers will be back in action on April 24, when they travel to Weatherford to take on Southwestern Oklahoma State University at 2 p.m.
