Alva, Okla- The Northwestern Ranger Softball team dropped the final two games of the series against the Harding Bisons.
The Bisons got off to a hot start in Game 1 and the Rangers couldn't respond as they fell 10-1.
Kaitlyn Corn and
Savannah Duran each had 2 hits for the Rangers.
Grace Husley had 2 strikeouts for Northwestern.
The Rangers battled hard in Game 2.
Once again, Harding got off to a fast start after scoring 2 runs off Errors to begin the game. The Bisons added in additional run in the top of the second inning to make it 3-0.
Northwestern didn't go away this time. The Rangers fought back after an RBI Double by
Jamie Molina to get on the board.
Chloe Brown fended off the Bisons for the next 3 innings. The pitcher threw 2 strikeouts and only earned 3 runs in her final game as a Ranger.
In the top of the fifth, the Bisons scored a run to make the game 4-1. Northwestern responded with a run of their own to cut the deficit to 2.
The Bisons added an insurance run in the following inning and they took the final game of the season 5-2.
