ALVA, Okla. - The Rangers have earned back-to-back Great American Conference golfers of the week, with
Pierce Geminden taking home the honor after winning the Battle for the Belt on Tuesday.
Geminden won the tournament with rounds of 73, 65, and 69, which helped the Rangers win their first tournament since 2023. Geminden's round of 65 is tied for the second lowest in program history, as he recorded nine of his 19 birdies in that round, including a streak of four birdies in a row from holes one through four.
The Rangers will be back in action on Oct. 1, as they travel to Weatherford for a bout with Southwestern for the Perkins Cup.
