PREVIOUS SCHOOLS
Out of high school he accepted a scholarship from UNC-Asheville where he played both Basketball and Baseball. He then transferred to Pitt Community College where he concentrated on Baseball. After a year at the community college, Bess accepted a scholarship from Lander where he played during his junior season after which he attended Thomas Edison State College where he received his Bachelor's Degree.

HIGH SCHOOL
Had an outstanding athletic career at Cherryville High School in Cherryville, N.C. where he was an All-District and All-Conference selection in Football, Basketball and Baseball. As a freshman, he pitched the Ironmen to the N.C. High School Athletic Association to a State Championship. He was also named the Most Outstanding Athlete in Gaston County by the local newspaper during his junior year.

Born Mar. 23, 1993…Son of Thomas Bess and Tonjua Williams…Has six brothers and sisters…Working on his Masters in Adult Education.
