2018 (JUNIOR)
Appeared in all 11 games during the season. Barnes picked up 34 tackles and picked off two passes this season. His total 11 passes defended this season was seventh best in the league... Barnes was selected as an All-GAC Honorable Mention player. 

2017 (SOPHOMORE)
Appeared in all 11 games during the season, starting in all of them and was a major difference maker in the secondary. He was charged with taking on every No. 1 receiver for opposing teams and was exceptional in the role, earning himself First Team All-GAC honors. He earned 55 tackles in 2017, fourth on the team, while intercepting three passes as well with 10 breakups.

2016 (FRESHMAN)
Appeared in all 11 games, starting in seven of them... Recorded 60 tackles throughout the season and led the team with 12 pass break ups... Intercepted one pass and netted 5.5 tackles for loss. 

2015 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
