The junior transfer came in and made an immediate positive impact on the Ranger defense where he played in all 11 games. He came away with 31 tackles, one for loss. He also recorded an interception for 12 yards and two pass breakups in his first season.

Attended Hazelwood West High School in St. Louis, Mo....Played RB and DB for coach Reed's Wildcats...Helped lead the Wildcats to the second round of the playoffs...Was an All-Conference selection in three of his four years
