Northwestern Oklahoma State University

2018 (JUNIOR) 
Appeared in seven games for the Rangers. He finished second on the Northwestern team with a career high 114 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. The standout linebacker also forced a fumble, recovered two fumbles and batted down three passes from opposing quarterbacks. Wright earned First Team All-GAC, and Northwestern Junior Male Athlete of the Year. 

2017 (SOPHOMORE)
Appeared and started in all eight games that he participated in. He had another fantastic year that once again gained him incredible recognition. He totaled 104 tackles in just eight games, leading to 13.0 tackles/game, good enough to lead the conference and was second overall in the NCAA Division II. He also had 14 tackles for loss, dropping the opposing team for 64 yards. He also had one pass breakup, two QB hurries, one fumble recovery and two forced fumbles. His numbers led him to a First Team All-GAC selection and the Northwestern Athlete of the Year.

2016 (FRESHMAN)
Appeared in all 11 games... Led the team with 108 tackles and finished third in the conference with an average of 9.8 tackles per game... Recorded 10 or more tackles in all but three games... Forced two fumbles, recovered two fumbles, and had an interception... Named the GAC Defensive Player of the Week after his performance at Oklahoma Baptist which included 14 tackles. 

High School
Played multiple positions for Luther High School... Garnered All-State honors his senior year for the Lions... Coached by Shawn Meek.

Born in Oklahoma CIty, Okla. on 4/25/1998... Son of Maurice Wright Sr. and Melody Wright... Has three siblings... Enjoys hunting and fishing in his free time.
