Appeared in 24 matches this season...Recorded 77 assists in 49 sets...Finished the year with 36 total digs and four service aces.

2013 (Sophomore):
Ranked second on the team with 259 assists... Hit season-highs in both assists (21) and digs (21) on Sept. 26 against Southern Nazarene... Finished with 119 digs for the year... Named to the Great American Conference All-Academic team.

2012 (Freshman):
Put together a terrific Freshman season recording a team high 366 assists in the 86 sets she played in, and also had 156 digs, which was good enough for second on the team… Was a finalist for Northwestern’s Female Freshman Athlete of the Year

High school:
Roosevelt High School girl’s athlete of the year…MVP of volleyball and track team senior year.

Personal:
Daughter of Yukio and Patty Yakawa... Serves on Northwestern's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)... Majoring in Health & Sports Science.
