Kasey Guinty

Coach Kasey Guinty joined the Ranger baseball staff as the pitching coach in the fall of 2018. Prior to his arrival at NWOSU he spent 3 seasons at McPherson College (NAIA) in Kansas as the Pitching Coach. During his time there Coach Guinty’s pitching staff improved each season setting numerous team records including, Wins, Strikeouts, Batting Average Against, Saves, Walk’s allowed and ERA. Coach Guinty had the pleasure of coaching Matthew Green who was a 2017 1st team All-Conference Pitcher (KCAC) and Josh Lewis (RHP) the 2018- KCAC Freshman of the Year. Since his departure several of his recruits have earned additional KCAC accolades.

Prior to his time at McPherson College, Coach Guinty served as the Head Coach of Manhattan Christian College (Kan.) for three seasons. While there his teams included two NCCAA D-11 All-Americans, and Five players who earned NCCAA D-1/D-11 All-Central Region Honors.

Coach Guinty brings 11 years of collegiate coaching experience to the Ranger’s staff.

As a player, Guinty was a NCCAA D-II All-Central Region pitcher.  He finished his senior season ranked third nationally in victories and was in the top-20 in ERA; Guinty still holds numerous records at Manhattan Christian.  He graduated from MCC in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Bible/Youth Ministry and a Master’s of Science Degree in Kinesiology with Sports Management emphasis from the University of Central Missouri (2018).

Kasey is originally from Derby, Kansas and currently resides in Alva.
