HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Cherokee High School where he was a member of a very successful football program. Cherokee HS earned 2010 State Champion honors, advanced to the first round of the playoffs in 2011, advanced to Semi-Finals in 2012, and again were State Champions in 2013. Castro earned multiple honors himself including 2011 and 2012 All-District LB, 2013 District MVP, and several All-Star nominations.
