Played in all 11 games and contributed in a variety of different roles… Caught one pass for five yards… Waged a back-and-forth battle for the starting punter job… Averaged 35.5 yards per punt in 21 attempts… Boomed three punts of 50+ yards, including a season-long 65-yarder… Had two punts blocked but put four others inside the 20 without a single touchback… Logged two tackles on special teams…

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Spent two seasons at Independence (Kan.) Community College, using up one season of eligibility… Caught three passes for 47 yards and a touchdown as a freshman in 2011… Transferred to Northwestern for the Spring Semester.

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a big contributor for Newton High School, logging time at strong safety, wide receiver and punter… Three-time letterman for the Railers… Named second team All-AVCTL as a senior punter in 2010… Played for Coach Brent Glann… Was a member of the Railer basketball team and also a two-year letterman in track and field, helping Newton to the 5A State Championship in 2009…
