Aharon Barnes is new to the coaching staff. He is joining the staff as a Graduate Assistant for the Northwestern football team. Barnes graduated from NWOSU with his Bachelor's Degree in Health and Sports Science and minor in Psychology in sports.Â
Barnes, from Duncanville, Texas, was a four-year starter and a team captain for two years for the Rangers. He is a two-time All-GAC First team honoree. Barnes is the 2019 Male Senior of the Year. He is also apart of the GAC’s All-Decade team, he was named to the 2019 GAC's special teams kick returner of the year and a two-time All-Central Region player.
