Northwestern Oklahoma State University football is excited to welcome John Flores as its new Running Backs Coach. He arrives in Alva after serving as an Offensive Line Assistant at UTSA, where he was part of a staff that built one of the most consistent and productive rushing attacks in the American Athletic Conference. During his time with the Roadrunners, he helped develop a physical run game that powered the program to multiple postseason appearances, including a Myrtle Beach Bowl championship.
John Flores brings an offensive line mindset into the running back room, giving his players a unique perspective on blocking schemes, protection responsibilities, and overall run-game efficiency. His ability to connect with players and maximize their potential makes him a valuable addition to the Ranger coaching staff. At NWOSU, he will oversee the development of the running backs, focusing on toughness, ball security, and explosive play making as the program looks to elevate its offensive identity.
