Josh Evans

Evans enters his 4th year as the Rangers Quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator. 
Evans obtained his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of La Verne. Evans was a three year starter at quarterback, where the Leopards won a conference championship in 2015. Boasting one of the top offenses in D3 with an offensive avg. of  441.2 YPG (2016). He helped lead the team that was dubbed D3 National team of the week. Evans also served as a 2 year captain at the University of La Verne.
Evans arrived to NWOSU in 2019 where he was a graduate assistant and coached the wide receivers. The receivers would catch 14 TD’s and have two wide receivers who had 500+ yds of receiving (Kentrez bell and Gavin Garner).
Evans Took over the quarterbacks job in 2020 and was named the passing game coordinator in 2021.
Since then, he has Increased the passing YPG from 188 (2019) - 245 (2021)YPG. The Rangers threw for 2,694 yards and 21 TD’s with the help of all American WR Gavin Garner hauling in 12. The Rangers QB (Tanner Clarkson) was 4th in total offense in the Great American Conference (261.8 YPG)
